Refund Policy
At Breaking Watch, we want you to be satisfied with your subscription. This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are issued.
1. General Policy
1.1 Free Trial
We offer a 7-day free trial for Pro and Max plans. You can cancel anytime during the trial period through your dashboard to avoid being charged, and cancellation ends trial access immediately. Once the trial ends and you are charged, the standard refund policy applies.
1.2 Paid Subscriptions
Pro subscriptions are available as monthly ($10/month) or annual ($99/year) billing. Max subscriptions are available as monthly ($20/month) or annual ($199/year) billing. You can cancel anytime, but cancellation takes effect immediately and access does not continue through the end of the current billing period.
2. Refund Eligibility
✅ Eligible for Refund
You may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial Pro or Max subscription purchase if:
- The Service does not function as described
- You experienced technical issues that prevented you from using core features
- You were accidentally charged due to a billing error
1.3 Upgrades and Proration
When upgrading from Pro to Max or from monthly to annual billing, you will be charged the prorated difference immediately. The prorated amount is calculated based on the remaining time in your current billing cycle. Upgrade charges are processed immediately and are not refundable.
❌ Not Eligible for Refund
Refunds will not be issued for:
- Cancellation after the 7-day window
- Failure to cancel before the next billing cycle
- Unused time during a billing period
- Prorated upgrade charges
- Changes to third-party APIs that affect monitoring
- Alerts you deem unnecessary or not relevant
- Dissatisfaction with the Free tier limitations
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email support@breaking.watch within 7 days of purchase
- Include your account email and reason for the refund request
- We will review and respond within 2-3 business days
4. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method
- Refunds may take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement
- We reserve the right to deny refund requests that abuse this policy
